According to NHS Choices (

many adults aged 65 and over spend, on average, 10 hours or more each day sitting or lying down, making them the most sedentary age group.

Research shows it's never too late to adopt and reap the health benefits from a more active lifestyle.

For example, older adults who are active will reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke to a similar level as younger people who are active.

Our Move Mobility classes are aimed at those over 60, or who are recovering from injury/mobility issues.

Keeping active as you get older has all manner of benefits -

Lower risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, depression & dementia.

Our progressive programme is designed to increase activity gradually & safely in an encouraging atmosphere.

Attending one of our Move Mobility classes not only improves fitness levels but keeps you in touch with society, the community, friends & neighbours.

Move Mobility classes are also available in a Residential Care setting.

If you manage or work in a Residential Care environment & would like to discuss the Move Mobility programme further please contact Lisa on 07541 527576.
